Hey has anyone out there overclocked a p 4 if so what's you set and results? Do you think getting a 1.5 g p4 to 2 g is possible with water cooling and a peltier? Do you need an additional power supply to run peltier (120 watts or larger)?

Thanks

The P-4 is like all the rest, you get the most O/C bang for your buck with the lower speed CPUs. The new 1.3 gig appears to be the best overclocker and should hit 1.7 gig. I'll bet the jump from a 1.5 gig P-4 to 2 gig is not possible, but I'd love for you to prove me wrong. Check out this good article at the below listed URL for more info.

I've seen Sisoft Sandra results with a P4 at 2.1g at www.H-oda.com. So I guess the P4 has some potential.

But they do mad **** like adding custom voltage regulators and clock dividers etc, how cold did they have the chip to get it that high, I bet with similar cooling an athlon would run at those speeds too.
