should i do to my intel chip what some do to their amd chips and lower the voltage

I've posted before about raising my voltage to get my processor stable but should i try what people have done with the amd chips and LOWER the voltage. Might this help? what bad effects could this have on my processor?

Try it. Contrary thinking is refreshing. I don't think you'll damage anything. Of course, some AMD processors since the first K6-2's benefit from a lower Core Voltage. Chipzilla's aren't famous for this.

worked great for me, but i already was stable @ 877 (83fsb) 1.7v (Default) so i stepped it down to 1.65v and is perfectly stable. My chip is a cC0 Celeron II 700 @ 877. GOOD LUCK
