I thought after week 39 they were locked?
maybe i'm confused, however i've ran at 227*11, 10*227, and 11.5*200, and 9*230, Is this normal? I even ran at 166*13. Am I confused or just lucky.
BTW I'm having issues past 227 I've heard that maybe its my bios, what version should I try? I'm running my vcore as high as 1.8 and my chipset voltage at 1.7 and ram at 2.7? Which should I continue to progress with?
At idle and at 2476 i'm at 36c
OMG I hope they unlocked them again:p

if possible, try to get a close up shot of the L1, L2 or anything that says "L" on it... these guys here can tell if there's a shift in the traces on that cpu.

well its not a OEM chip, I bought it from newegg and its retail in box
I bought a AQZFA 0347 from newegg a few weeks ago. I didn't even bother to test if it was unlocked. I will go test now, if it is, I love you.
EDIT
It was locked:(
Off Topic: rotarys are sweet.

Hey all, I just installed my new Barton 2500+ week 47 also. I went into my bios settings (Abit NF7-S r2.0, non-updated bios) and I am allowed to change the multiplier setting. Correct me if im wrong, but if its locked it wouldnt let you change the mult setting correct? Anyways, am I another lucky one?

Mine is locked and I can still change the multi in bios. But it won't post. I then have to shut off the ps for a minute and hold insert to get into bios to get it back to 11.

I just got a barton 2500+ week 47 PQZFA and it is locked. I kept my AQYFA week 43 chip as I can over clock that one better too. ('course that might be because I didn't have enough time to do a 48 hour burn in with the newer Barton).
