I really think that you are shooting way too high, when aiming for 1.4 gig with such a CPU!!! According to the CPU database, the average oc of a P3-933 is 1051MHz, so I seriously doubt that you will hit 1.400MHz!
Have you tried actually doing anything yet, and if yes, what is the actual speed now?
Still, you might get about 100Mhz out of it, so it's worth a shot. Do you have the stock intel cooler on it? It's worth nothing, so you should consider getting something better, look for Alpha or Global win for a new air cooler.
What RAM and videocard are you using?
It's nice to see that some peole have a sense of humour, 1.4ghz ahhh hahahaha!

No need to be rude here.

Actually the retail heatsink\fan on the 933 and 1ghz chips is a pretty decsent cooler in my opinion if you lap it really really nice! They even state that it will not fit on all motherboards and that you should make sure to measure before purchasing. With a delta black label screwed on the top[perfect fit BTW] of the 1gig HSF my temps were only 2\3c higher than with my alpha.
