Pentium 4 1.5 Advice

Im looking at building a new system in a couple months and was wondering what y'all thought.... I'm looking at a P4 1.5G on an Asus board w/ the Intel i850 chipset.... Any thoughts/problems/comments/advice on this?

i dont know why someone would waste their money on a p4. i know this is the intel cpu section but the tbird 1.2 will preform almost if not as well as the 1.5.
