my sys temp is 27c but my cpu temp is 62 c is this to high
Your CPU temp is very high. I think Intel rate the hottest the 700, and most of the P3's can go to is around 70 degress C. Your chip seems way too hot!
What alarm are you talking about? I have 3 alarms on my Abit BX133 board. Board, system and cpu alarms. Do you have the Hardware Doctor program that I got with my BX? If you have and you havent checked that, then I would suggest taking a look and see if your max temps are exceeded. Have you set the maximum cpu temps in the BIOS ? Check there also.
ok my cpu was getting to hot , my fan was not fitting right on my cpu, got that taken care of and my temp went down to 49c , i need to get another fan.running now @980 stable
