Problems with santa cruz and NF7

For some reason I cant get my santa cruz sound card to work with my NF7. Every time I install the drivers, no matter how I do it, I cant get windows to start back up after a reboot. I cant find anything about issues with the card and the NForce2 chipset so if anyone has and ideas on what I should do I would appreciate it. I would hate to have to us the onboard sound rather than this great sound card.

OK guys. I needed sound and installed the alc650 codec. Now I realize how good my santa cruz card really is.

I tried the newest drivers that are supposed to address the game port issue some people ard have but it didnt work. If no one can give me help with this, atleast tell me what kind of card compareable to the santa cruz will work with this board. :( I may end up having to put this card up in the classifieds if I cant find a fix.

i had the same problem before, with another board tho, AU11. I first uninstalled nvidia chipset driver, which solved the problem of not starting up, then i gone to device manager, individially undated anything with a yellow ! in front (should be SMbus and ur SC game port) Beware tho, I had to reinstalled my video card driver as well. dunno if it will help u or not, and sorry for da crappy english...ask me anything if i am not being clean.
