Using 2 Harddrives?

I have a WD 40G With windows xp. I want to use my seagate 40G with it. How do you suggest I set this up? Should I use my seagate as a slave and as storage? And if I did this , is all I do is formate the seagate and throw it in? Some more info : both are IDE and 7200rpm

set the jumpers on both drives and throw the seagate in format it and you're done

As you said: Set the seagate as slave and put it on the same channel as your WD. Format and ready to go!

That sounds fine, or you could use it as the master on a different ide port. You can format the extra drive in windows also if you want.
