I have been running my PIII700 very stable at 1.9 volts for a couple of weeks. Up until three weeks ago it had been at 840 with 1.85 volts and stock cooling.

Is it too late to do a burn in at 1.9 volts and 700 MHz? I bought this system in late November.

If I use Sandra should I just use the CPU Benchmark, CPU Multimedia Benchmark and Memory Benchmark?? It seems foolish to do the hard drive and CD benchmarks. They wouldn't tax the CPU as much and I see no reason at all to tempt fate by stressing a very nice quiet hard drive.

I wouldn't say it was too late, but you should already have had some of the effect seeing as you have been using it for a while,
I would use sandra and seti at the same time and yes you should only do the cpu multimedia and memory as these have the most direct use of the cpu.

This burning in really seems to pay off! I had my new Celeron 800 running at 1Ghz at default voltages for about three weeks. This week, after getting a BIOS update, I let it run SETI at 1.9Vc and 3.6Vio (at default speed) for about 36 hours, and now I'm at 1052Mhz@8x131.55 using 1.85Vc and 3.5Vio!!! It wouldn't even boot without into windows at these FSB speeds without locking up before I did the burn-in... So, go for it, but be careful with your stock-cooler though! Mine's also an orginal Intel crap fan-heatsink but it's a larger one than the one originally supllied with the celemine...
