PII 300 only oc at 450 Mhz

Hi,
I get my PII 300 (Deschutes) only to 450 Mhz.
Any attempt to rise the FSB to 103 Mhz affects that
windows 98 starts always new again, again and again.
I got soyo 6vca mobo (133 A) and 1x 128 MB RAM.

What I' m doing wrong? Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But other people get it to 504 Mhz!!

I agree, that 450 mhz is about all you can expect from the deshutes core...you'd be lucky to get 475 out of it..unless it's a remarked PII 450, but still, 504 is pushing that core...you could try to slow the cache down a bit, ad see if it boots, or dissable it altogether...but be prepared to wait 20min for bootup
