I went to this site to order my tubing and barbs from a link someone sent me. When i initially placed my order, i didnt get enough tubing. So i emailed them asking them to increase the quantity of the order, and they did, but it deleted my visa off file and i had to replace the order. So i did, but when i recieved the packages of tubing (which is very resonably priced and very high quality) and barbs (they were separate) i noticed the barbs were not what i had ordered. So i went and checked my order confirmation email, and somehow i had ordered the wrong part... go figure. I sent them an email explaining what happened and they told my to discard the improper item and they would credit my account back and send me the proper barbs.

Now that's what i call customer service.

I think these guys deserve a spot on the vendors sticky. 10 out of 10.

Oh yea, and i now have 8 1/2" to 3/8" hose barbs and 10 3/8" to 1/2" NPT things... in case anyone needs some.

I second that. McMaster-Carr is awesome. I've ordered from them three times now, all pretty small quantities. They ship very promptly, and their prices are incredible.

I love them too.

My only minor complaint is you really don't know how much shipping is going to be. Albiet their shipping is reasonable, it would be nice to know beforehand.

Ditto...

I've ordered many times from McMaster-Carr, usually small orders...always prompt, great prices, fast shipping, adequate packaging, and top notch customer service. I share the same minor complaint about shipping prices, though every time I've trusted them to choose the "best shipping method," the rates have been very reasonable.

All in all, it's always a pleasure to do business with them, and always quite comfortable recommending them to anyone (personal or professional).

McMaster is to the rest of the world as NewEgg is to computer geeks. They rock!

I ditto that, that McMaster-Carr is an excellent vendor. I recently ordered 200 ft of 22AWG wire. It came the next day after I ordered it. I don't know how they did it with UPS shipping but I'm not complaining. The only problem is, I couldn't find any quick disconnects for the wire so I had to buy them elsewhere :( Not bad price either though. 10/10 :D

Same here. They have been nothing but the best for me too. And they have a HUGE catalog full of EVERYTHING at GREAT prices!

You might not know the shipping price, but it is the ACTUAL shipping price, not some inflated price. It will alwyas be reasonable and what you would pay if YOU were shipping it

This is a sign of a good vendor IMO. I also give them a 10/10.

McMaster does indeed rule and they get a huge 10/10 from me. I live up here in the great white north (Canada) and shipping for my tubing was $5.34 with no brokerage or customs fees. Also I ordered on a monday morning and it was here in something like 26 hours. These guys absolutly rock.

I live 1 state over and i get it NEXT day when paying ground ups, WOW ups ground takes 2 weeks from any other vendor within 2 states for me :( , mcmaster has us all addicted and i am a proud and returing customer . When doing a w/c project you need stuff within a few hrs and if you can wait overnight for your stuff then mcmcaster is there for you :)
