I gonna install winxp on my sata drive next week. so am I right to say that when I boot from the CD and the winxp install thing starts and askes if I need to install any RAID drivers I say yes and install my SATA drivers? and then winxp will install on my sata drive? right?

tips?

Thats correct put them on a floppy and when the OS asks for them put in the disk. At least for my install it was.

When you're beginning the installation, you're supposed to press F6 when it tells you to. That will bring up the prompt for you to insert the floppy disk with the drivers in it later on.

I just installed on a new SATA myself and it is much speed. Glad it went well
