How can it be that my bench marks are higher than a P4 1.5Ghz

P4s don't perform as well as they should, probably because software at the moment doesn't take advantage of the improvements in its architechture. I'm not surprised that a P3 @ 1.05GHz beats it in Sandra

I'm not so sure about the validity of Sandra, I mean when I run sandra, it always shows a PIII1g i820 getting smoked by an AMD duron at 600mhz, and I couldn't help notice that in your screenshot, your version shows the PIII tromping the duron...WTF?
another thing of note is it's inability to reckognise my bios...it gave me a warinig saying that my bios is not upgradeable...and my board is less than six months old...and I have the latest sandra...so it should see an award bios...if my bios was not flashable, then why would abit post the original bios on their site for d'l ?
I can't complain though, it was free.:-)

Any benchmark that uses the FPU heavily will show the AMD and PIIIs as much higher, since that is the P4's problem.

## I would say try upgrading your SiSandra to the latest version, they just released a 2001 Version not too long ago. Try that, that just may cure up some of the problems you are having with it. I notice alot less problems running Sandra 2001. It also includes a new feature in 2001, which is the CPU burn in. So it's worth checking out, trust me... ##

## Just noticed you have the latest. Doh I must really be getting tired. I don't know why Sandra is improperly identifying things. Have you tried seeing if they have motherboard specific updates for it yet ? ##

Just hit your PrtScn button then open any image editing program you have. windows paint even works.
