I just installed an AN7 including new ram, CPU, and heatsink. All four of my drives ( HDD, HDD, CD-RW, DVD ) are recognised in the BIOS setup screen, so they're getting power presuably and sending a signal. But when it goes through POST it doesn't see either HDD and the HDD activity light on my case doesn't flicker or glow. So at the end of POST it goes into the windows safemode selection screen, I choose a safemode but it can't start up even then because it can't access the master or slave HDD. What's going on? These HDD's are the ones I used with my old setup, I'm wondering, could Windows XP be doing something, or are they dead?

If you have them both on the same cable, make sure they are jumpered correctly.
