I recently purchased a Celeron-II with the following info on the label on the chip:
RB80526RX700128
Q027A534-0283 QZ48ES
It was sold as a Celeron-II 800, which I know it is not! Both CPUZ and SiSandra 2001 tell me it is a 700 cC0, my main question is I find nothing resembling an SL#. I am not terribly unhappy as this chip is running in my Abit BE6-II at a very stable 10.5 X 100 @ 1.8V. But why is there nothing resembling an SL#?

Well, I can tell you it IS a Celeron II 700, made the 27th week of 2000. I've never seen numbers quite like these. I know the "Q" in the 1st position on the second line is the manufacturing plant, Which is Malasia.
Never seen one w/out an "S" code.
There were a couple of post in this forum w/in the last month concerning this, and Tim had the full answer. Keep looking back thru the posts in this catagory for a fuller answer.

You have an engineering sample. Hold onto it tightly. Sandra says it is a 700 because you are running at 10.5x. If this was a Celeron2-800 it would be running 8x100. Try changing the mulitplier through BIOS, I think you will find that the chip is unlocked. WTG!

Many thanks to those who took the time to answer my questions concerning this processor. Also Thanks to Tim for his response to my Email. As he predicted, the multiplier is locked at 10.5, however I am very pleased with the way this chip has performed at 10.5 X 100 @ 1.85V. Core temps at idle are running 21-23 and after running the SETI client for 4hrs. core temp. was running 36-38, so I'm very satisfied with my investment.
