Can I use the Motherboard onboard video and a separate Video Card to run a dual monitor rig?

The PC is a gateway and the card is a TNT.

(dont sniker so much... this is for a work PC, not my own rig!)

Yes, you should be able to. Although there may not be an agp slot on the motherboard so you' may have to use a pci vid card instead.
