Is dual channel enabled for different size sticks

need fast reply on this one. have one stick 256mb mem and want to buy 512mb one and put them together in nforce2.

I've run like that but the system didn't run quite right. It was in DC no question but it just acted funny

it will work, i tried it, and it worked with better timings than when i had 2x512 in the thing, now i can run 210 fsb,before i could only do 200 at he lamest timings imagenable...

but i am gonna put 2x256 in my system as soon as i get a stick of 256mb
