I am looking for two p3 cc0 850s. Unfortunately they are hard to find. At least hard for me to find anyway. Please tell me or paste a link to a place or places I can get them so I can price compare. Thank you Overclockers.

Did you try PC Nut and Outsideloop.com?

I've tried Pc Nut, but not Outsideloop. I'm gonna try that now. Pc Nut is out of em.

Outsideloop.com does'nt have'em either and for those of you looking for 700's, they are sold out on those as well. hmmmmm.

I'm not saying this is all that cheap, but the below URL has retail P-III 850 chips in both slot 1 and socket 370 versions. My buddy and I both have ordered from them before, no problems. This was only the second or third place I looked and I stopped looking. Did you check pricewatch.com yet?

Thank you for looking batboy. Unfortunately, they don't specify the stepping and that usually means cb0. Pricewatch is also not sporting them. Is this odd? I bet Dell has them all.

I don't own stock in Compuplus, but they are a high volume seller, so I'll bet what they're selling is the cC0 stepping. My buddy bought a Celeron 667 CPU from them (I recommended a 600, but he never listens to me) in late December and it was a cC0 stepping. The easiest way to tell is to check the default voltage, of course, the cC0 will be 1.7v. I didn't think they made that many cB0 P-III 850's.

If you absolutely have to get the cC0 stepping, then buy a couple P-III 900 chips, they were produced in cC0 only.

Just picked up a P3 800E off e-bay, some sellers will list the s-specs, mine is a SL4MA w/ CCo stepping and I've got it up to 1040 stable, and hit 1066 and it stops when booting windows (on ABIT SE6). Would have bought a 850 if available. Good luck!!

You did check this website, right? http://www.outsideloop.com/

I was just at their homepage, they're sold out of OEM P-III cC0 700, but they have P-III cC0 800 chips. Also, in the overclock section, there is two different pretested cC0 700 chips, one @ 933 and the other @ 1000

Steve, the guy I bought my P-III cC0 700 from, should have more pretested CPUs in stock soon.

If DaNut don't have them in stock right now, he'll probably get more in soon or can order a couple for you.

Hey guys,
Thanks for the input. I found some at PUI (power up inc.) in Houston. I called and spoke to Agness and she was very helpful. They also sell pretested 700s at 933 and she will also make sure they are Cc0! Wahoo! It seems many places dont like call out the stepping because the majority of people buying processors don't have a clue what stepping is and 133fsb sound a lot better to the layperson than 100fsb. Thanks again and if you too are looking, I suggest going to pricewatch and calling the stores. Or, go to PcNut, they had a message on their site about having great deals next week.
