I would like to make a bootable CD version of Memtest86 but I don't know how:( Making the problem worse, I belive that the file system it uses is some sort of Linux variant. Any ideas would be welcome:) Thanks for the help.

You can download a bootable ISO CD image from here (http://www.memtest86.com/memtest86-3.0.iso.zip). Just unzip it and use a Nero or something to burn the ISO :)

There is no filesystem to setup. Just do what JigPu said, reboot with it in your drive, and it runs by itself.

Or you could go here (http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/) and throw away a half dozen floppys at one time.

Half a dozen?? Try 2 dozen!

That is a seriously sweet bootdisk. I was thinking of making a combo with Memtest, DLG, and one or two others, but I'm not that much of an expert.

Time to download!!!!

If you do happen to need dos for any reason, like making your own ghost boot disc that will read/write ntfs, here (http://www.oldstuff.myagora.net/powerload/bootdisk.htm) is about any flavour you could ask for as well as tools and instructions.
