I have now a 1800+ dlt3c and nf7 v2 but am really intrested in a 2.4c. What stepping code am i looking for and what can i excpet to get normally with my khx3500 ch-5 memory? Also am looking for a good budget overclockable mobo nothing with sata or anything just something good with dual ddr and so on. Thanks for the help.
You have only two steppings with the 2.4C... D1 and M0... both are good, but the SL6Z3 M0 is a tad better on average.
Budget mobo? Either the Abit AI7 or the Abit IS7-E.

abit ai7 w/2.4c sl6z3 aka m0
But make shure to get bh-5 memory!! I have AI7 2.4c mo and had hyperx 3500. Will not do 5:4 default at 250. There is a problem with ch=5 and 5:4 divider. I had to rma and get hyperx 3200 non A . It can go 270 5:4 2 5 2 2 with sock cooling, Will go higher but not stable without better cooling.

A good alternative to Abit is Asus, specifically the P4C800 or if you're strapped for cash the P4P800 Deluxe. If you don't run hd's in SATA, the P4P800 is quite good and even cheaper. Each board has it's ups and downs--I know Abit had some voltage problems initially, but the more I read, it seems the problems are being resolved--however, I believe Abits also have some divider issues with certain types of memory, so make sure you get high quality memory that can run in 1:1 with your desired o/c if you go with Abit.
I know a number of folks have posted on the details, so I won't repeat them here, but a search on each mobo will give you some background. Abit also has great community forums.

All of these board are extremely good for overclocking. Good luck!

So what do u think is a resonable or possible overclock with the ch5 mem in dual channel? Because if its not a huge difference to get the bh-5 im just gonna stay with the ch.
