hello everyone...I have a question regarding 2 DFI motherboards. I am looking for a motherboard for my components. Here are the 2 boards I was looking at:

I would not be running a raid setup, but instead a single SATA WD Raptor, a barton 2500, an ATI 9800 Pro, and 1 gig of Hyper-X PC3000

What are the main differences between these 2 boards?

I would like to upgrade from my a7n8x to a SATA-compatible board, and would like some feedback on these 2 DFI choices

Thanks for your time!

Firstly, the second mobo you list comes from the "Infinity" series of DFI mobos. They are their second level mobos, behind the LAN Party series. The first one seems more of an economy board. The Infinity also appears to offer standard 5.1 Channel sound support. The Infinity has 4 SATA ports standard, whereas the base one only comes with one (at least thats what the specs say). Other than that, they look pretty similar.

The infinity has
1) different sound (supose to be better)
2) different LAN
3) RAID SATA instead of single channel SATA
4) water block mounting holes.

If I missed anything, someone chime in.
