cool. for a year i had been using a asus p3v4x with a cele-2 667 overclocked to 1000, could go up to 1050mhz but ran better at 100 bus or 95bus.

This is my first oc since my Cel 300a@504. I seem to be stuck at 68% oc's. :)
This guy got a C2 533 @ 1080. That is over 100% overclock.

A 633 @ 1040 @ 2v. I can get it to POST at 1130 at 2v.
I just got it to boot at 1102 Mhz at 2.1v. Volts are too high for me.
Maybe when I get my peltier and watercooler setup I can get more... :)
Waterblock should be here today, and I have to order a 80w peltier.

cool 1100. Be sure to cool your ICS clock generator chip and you will get higher results. i watercool with a 156watt peltier and it makes a huge difference. atleast it did on my old celeron 2 667 @1050. now its in another computer with just a glorb on it and it can reach 950 but its 100% stable at 900. When my new 1200 chip comes its going to 1600. Someone in korea got a 1200 up to 1600 with the same setup as i have.
Was actually at 1360 (9x152), but 156 FSB is more relevant

As far as the most mhz gained, then it would have to be my 600E @ 956mhz =356mhz over spec
but now I'm in the testing phase with my new cCO 700e @1050 default volt (1.7)...the fastest stable speed with my 600 was 158fsb,cas3...156 cas2.. I might be able to surpass this but like I said, I'm in the testing phase of my overclock...hoping to reach 1125...it'll be a stretch, but hey this is my kinda fun ;-)

Got my P3 700 to boot and load windows @1050 MHz, with the stock cooler. Freezes after 10 mins.
got my slot 1 700e retail cbo stepping cpu at 1085mhz. with an alpha p3125s and 86w peltier. -7*c baby 100% stable

Are there any explanations how they sustained those insane FSB speeds?
Yo
I emailed about 5 of the guys who posted high numbers for the chip I use and even though the default voltage for the chip is 1.65 they were running it at 2.05 volts and I think even 2.1 volts.
they reach those speeds by having modified motherboards, and sometimes modified cpu's too

They're Japanese! :¬)} They're completely insane! :¬)} They heavilly mod their mobos! :¬)} and They probly spend more on cooling than I would spend on a complete system! :¬)}
