I have a celeron 667 (Q045A826-0453 SL4NZ MALAY) core stepping cC0 retail box , IWILL Slocket2 rev1.1 on ABIT BH6 rev1.0.
When i change to 100fsb and 1.95v on the slocket nothing happens the computer boot to 667 when i change the fsb and the voltage on the bios the computer doesn't boot.
The heatsink is what come in the retail box but i have a huge fan blowing on it (15cm) the case is open.
any suggestions ?
thanks

I would suggest at the very least some good thermal compund between the heatsink and chip, and would aslo recomend a better heat sink, It could be that this chip just won't do 1ghz, this is normally the limit for celerons but not all can run at that speed.

yes but when i change the fsb and voltage on the slocket the computer boot on 667 ,the slocket doesn't bypass the bios settings when i change the fsb and voltage within the bios to 100 and 1.9v it's does'nt boot.
i don't think the cooling is the problem because the cpu is cold and if it was hot he would have boot but fail in upload the os the probloem is in the bios i think.
any more suggestions ?
may be the voltage is the problem will try 2.0v~2.05v

I have heard a lot about problems with abit boards and them over riding the settings you set on the slocket, can you try the chip on a differant motherboard by any chance?
Also I would not recomend going over 1.9v and I would sa that you should never go over 2v as I know people who's chips have died at that voltage even though they weren't hot.
