Creative geforce2 mx oc@230,320= no effect!! WHY??

I've got a Creative Geforce2mx DDR, which runs default: mem @ 286, enginge @ 174. I set (using powerstrip v2.78) mem @ 320and eng. @ 230. (slight tearing), Despite this I didn't get a single point increase with 3dmark 2000!

Any ideas. ( I know its creative, but WTF!!!)

perhaps your not really OCing your card, maybee its just telling you u are...

Try using the Nvidia overclock utility...or d'l' coolbits .reg file, and it will open up the hardware options tab, whare u can o'c to you hearts content.
you can get coolbits at Riva station..this site has so many drivers for Nvidia cards, you'll go crazy just d'l'ing all the drivers.
if you can get the hardware tab opened, I would uninstall powerstrip...that way you have no conflicts..besides, powerstrip has a b#ttload of useless stuff in the toolbar...and I found the toolbar itself to be annoying.
Maybe you have reached the point of diminishing returns?
