I'm actually in the process of trying to validate the functionality of memory. I know of the common Sandra, 3DMark, and Quake tests, but are there applications that will 100% stress both the CPU and memory?
Thanks

I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to do here...so I apologize if my response is incorrect. There is a small program called simmstester that makes sure a stick of memory has no errors.
sandra 2001's burn in wizard lets you stress all the cpu components including the sse or mmx sections and also will do memory test which stressed the L1/2 cache and the memory.
I run;
Seti@home, prime95, 3d mark 2000, sandra. and play mp3's all at once for 48hrs. talk about 100% baby.
my p3 700e at 1085mhz http://www.mjstebbins.com/case.htm
How do you listen to mp3's at the same time as sandra, even when I set it's process priority to low it eats up cpu time like thers no tommorrow, this is with a 1.08ghz celeron, it won't even play cd's without jumping like mad.
