I have a:
AMD XP 2400+ (2GHz) TbB
ASUS A7v8x VIA KT400
Samsung 512MB PC2700
Leadtek gf4 Ti4800SE
Maxtor HDD 40GB
PSU 350w

I m now running @ 166x13 (2158 MHZ).

in my Bios settings, the clock frequency listed (149/37, 150/30), so does that mean even when i use 150 FSB, it uses the 1/5 divider?

But problem still occur, when i try to reboot the computer, is that it doesnt like a warm restart, everytime i try to restart in windows, it crashes, so i have to force it to switch off (by press and hold the power button), then i switch it back on and it automatically loads into BIOS, and it say that the BIOS is running in safe mode and the frequency is inconsistent with the manufacture.

Is this normal? is it that normally u guys get?

That's interesting, wow I think it does, that menas you can overclock between 150 and 165 if you wanted to....huh.

Can you boot into Windows safe mode without probs? This may be a Windows problem.

well, i can boot into safe mode in windows, and i never have problems with my windows when i was used to run at stock speed.

A warm restart is fine upto 149/37 (with multiplier 14), but it just doesnt like a warm restart with anything above 150/30.

The clock speed i can choose from is:

...
148/37
149/37
150/30
151/30
152/30
153/30
154/31
155/31
156/31
157/31
158/32
159/32
160/32
161/32
162/32
163/32
164/33
165/33
166/33
167/33... etc
170/34
