I have a intel P2 useing ATC-6100
this board has a big down fall it has A Built in switching Voltage Regulator and Auto detects Cpu Core voltage range 2.1V to 3.5 V
The CPU is a 266 I have it running at 300 at very very low Temp about 18 to 20 c with intel heat sink and fan
with a run temp of 20.9 c
My book for the main board says it will go 333 thats as high the Dip switch will go , but every time I boot after I set the switch it reads 133 Why is this can any one help with my problem

maybee its just displaying it wrong. go to: http://testcpu.com/ and download the test CPU utility. It tells you the MHz your system is at, and it dosn't lie. Move your speed up to 333, boot up, go into windows and use the utility. If it says 333MHz, then your motherboard is just displaying it wrong. if it says 133MHz, then you have a problem.

Thank you for the post
How are you measuring your temp, those are alittle low are you sure they are not your ambient temps as intel didn't put internal thermal diodes on their chips until the 350mhz chip

I was waiting for someone to ask me that , well the Sensor I use on my CPU was ordered from a US company since I am from canada , The temp senor was then modifed I place the senor in the heat sink dead center of the CPU Right up close to it , the other senor can be bought at any big auto store , or sometimes walmart, it's called ICEWarner, This senor was already reads like my other with a slight mod to it as well removing the plasic casing around the extrenal reader, this is now placed in side the case where ever i would like , the ice warner has two temp senors built in one for in and out the out is what the case temp is and in is the room temp ( this senor is built in to the base unit ) it also has max temp reach for in and out and Min for in and out as well as a clock Like I really need it and an almarm . it was 10 bucks at walmart in canada. and all the senor readings are very dam close . The CPU senor , also has a built in almarm but can not be set, when temps hit 50 I think the alarm will sound , it's been a while since I have hit the core temp.
does this answer your queston?
It really it a nice set up , friends just shake there head and wounder what the point of know the temp's for
