Ok what type of hard drive is this? FUJITSU 9.1GB SCA2 ULTRA SCA

SCA is a connector type.

Its 80PINS, versus wide scsi 68.

Its for hotplug support.

You can buy a adapter that changes that to 68 and a molex.

Speed is dependant on the scsi bus.

Do you think its worth buying at 9 dollers per drive? Or is it going to be really slow on a raid setup of about 5?

What speed of scsi is it? U2 U160 U320? If it is U2 it will be decent price, U160 would be nice. Also the adapters add capacitence to the line, so you prob wouldent be able to use 5 on the same channel. You would have to get a cage.

the adaptor cost more than the drive...I think I'll keep looking around.
