What would you say the best p3 to over clock is?..i have a soyo tek bv6a-133 motherboard( will hold a up to a p3 1000+} 256 megs of ram radeon 32 ddr vid card, soundblaster x gamer card..I am running a 566 flip chip o'ced to little over 900 with a golden orb fan,i'm getting bottle necking in some game(ut quake 3...)i was told that my cel 566 needed to be upgraded so i guess it time for a p3
I wouldn't uprgade from an overclocked celeron to a p3, if you are going to the effort and expense of an uprgade go for a duron 700-800 system which you should be able to get to 1ghz+
but if you are intent on intel then the p3 700 100mhz fsb is the best, should go to 933 with little effort and quite possibly 1ghz or so

Most people seem to be having great luck with the P3 700e chips, I personally run a P3 800, but thats a whole different ave. of discussion there.

you cant really ask the guy to go duron
because he'd have to buy a whole new mobo

Slot one 700e...best bang for the buck...and I stay away from cellies..not enough cache, same reason to avoid the Duron
