Abit NF7 bios update problem

I recently bought an Abit NF7 board and a Barton chip. I ned tyo update the bios but im having problem doing so. I copy the relevant bios file and awdflash to floppy but when i restart my comp it doesnt find the awdflash file-do i need to create a bootabkle floppy? Im using WiXP pro. If i do need to create a bootable floppy how do i go about doing this?

Yes you do need a bootable floppy. Abit's instructions here (http://www.abit-usa.com/downloads/bioshelp.php).
