If so, how well has it worked?

yeah...

i have a cA2 Pentium III 550E that would run at 733 and 770 at 1.55v. the default voltage for a cA2 is 1.6v so running my processor at 733 and higher at 1.55 does qualify for your question of overclocking by decreasing the voltage, right?

the processor isn't with me right now but it still is running at 733mhz at 1.55v only.

I was able to run my katmai P3 450 @ 558 at 1.7v (default=2.0v). I don't know if it qualifies, but I noticed a big diff in temps, that's fer sure...and the highest I have had that one was 598mhz@1.9v ....my board won't do more than 1.9v, so I guess it has always been undervolted, although that proc is on a shelf now

yea im have a celly 566 cc0 stepping .i dropped the voltage from the default 1.7 to 1.6 and am running it at 850 100fsb. i notivced a nice drop in temperature.

ive messed with the voltage a lot on this p3800e cco. i found that it can work at lower volts(i like the temp change) but the stability goes out the window. but thats only a problem with the high horsepower aplications like half life or seti. i think this is typical so you probley already know this senario. ive read the debates though and it does make sense that the digital swing from 1 to 0 would be faster a lower voltage. now that i think of it i really dosnt make sense to me why the more voltage helps overclocking other than a primitive thought of more coal to the fire

I ran my PC in the garage off 110v transformer, UK is 240v!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was doing 1008Mhz on a cB0 Celeron 600e at the time - now that's overclocking at a lower voltage!

Hey Andy,

I have two responses. First, have you ever been bitten (as we say here in the states) by 240 volts?

And second, ^_^ ^_^ ^_^
