i couldnt get my 566 celly to run at 850..maybe cuz of heat. so i lowered my cc0 1.7 default to 1.6...now its table at 850. is this safe? i have golden orb on be6.
ive posted be4 about my 566---850 problem.

Hella-Yeah. your lucky. Alot of people are experimenting with lowering the voltage to overclock, sometimes it works, sometimes not... its weird. Its pefectly safe, in fact its ALOT better for your CPU.

I think it is to do with how many amps your ps gives out at the voltage the cpu get's it's voltage from, as when you up the voltage normally for overclocking it is the increase amps that you are after, if you could get them without increasing the voltage it would be a lot better as it wouldn't get as hot
