I have a very old bx board 6BTM and overclocked Celly533@800. It works just fine
,and i dont wont to change my mobo just now.
The problem is that I can use only 66 and 100 FSB. Jumper on the board can be set at CPUselect, 66,100.I have SeePu in my BIOS but what ever I
set for FSB (it goes from 66 to 133) i get 66 FSB with jumper on CPUselect, and 100 FSB with jumper selected like that.
I have upgraded my bios and it is still the same. How can I get more freq.
for FSB. When I had PII300 I could overclock it only at 450 and it was also good. but I would like some more FSB freq. enabled for testing.
Please HELP!!!!!!!
Sorry for second post

Did you check for a conflict between the jumper settings on your slotket and the mainboard?! As I recall it, the 6BTM has 66/75/83/100/103/112/133 Mhz settings in the BIOS, so you should be able to go higher (with big leaps though). Make sure both your slotket and mainboard jumper are set for 100Mhz FSB

I also have the Chaintech 6btm. I currently have a 300a overclocked to 450. I have read thru the CPU database and cannot find where anyone has a 566 or 600 Celeron overclocked with this board. I want to upgrade my CPU and would also like to know if anyone has successfully overclocked this board with a 566 or 600 Celly, and how they did it. Any reccommendations for the best bang for buck - CPU upgrade for this board welcome.

Thankyou Max
