Another Applebred Duron 1.6

Another new boy here.
Fried my boy's Athlon 1.4 the other day but didn't damage the Gigabyte GA7VA mobo. Got new Duron 1.6 and nice big Coolermaster Silent. (Cheap!). Haven't played much with it yet but idles at 28C compared to 50 with athlon. Didn't think to read the numbers before fitting the heatsink, so where do I go from here to get those numbers up? This board seems very OC-able.

well with the durons what you'll probably want to do is unlock the full l2 cache (it's basically an XP chip with most of the l2 cache disabled). They're supposed to be very overclockable, you can just proceed from there.
Find your board's max fsb (by making sure the cpu is stable and ram is stable), then get the best ram timings possible, then find the max cpu overclock. :)
