I have a 120mm fan pulling air thriugh my rad now and wanted to know if I would get better results by mounting a 80mm fan and shroud that would push air into the rad.

Is the different sizes of fans or volumes of air going to hurt any thing with air flow? What are your suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Since an 80mm fan wouldn't be pushing near the same volume of air as the 120mm, it would probably do more harm than good. Also, a hole only 80mm wide (and blocked by a fan) would restrict airflow to the 120mm.

Also most shrouds are usually equipped with 120mm fans

I have 2 Panaflo L1a's in a push/pull setup, no need to 7v mod the fans they generate little noise :)
