I have a PC-133 PC-Chips Mobo, PC-133 DIMM and a 66MHz FSB Celeron 2 (633 MHz).

How can I get the memory running above 66 MHz ??

Some motherboards allow you to run the memory clock at the bus speed +33 like my Soyo 7VCA does. Mine's running at 147Mhz now while at a 114MHz FSB and +33 on my PC-133 memory.

If you don't have this option in your BIOS then the only other thing you can do is overclock your system.

You don't have too many options with that motherboard, but what you need to do to find out what options you do have is to enter your bios (probably by pressing delete after turning the computer on) and seeing if there is a way to change the front side bus settings. Your board might have settings for 66/100/133 but probably no others. If you have a 66mhz celeron, even with a 133 board and 133 ram everything is running at 66mhz. There is a possibility with that chip that you can up the fsb to 100mhz, but it may not work without any voltage adjustment. If it did though, you'd have a nice chip running at 950mhz on a 100mhz fsb. Good luck!

ya...crank up FSB...keep it to where it is stable...should be running fine..if need be....up cpu coltage too...you can prob it 1000....

The setup has the option to set a 'DIMM/CPU' ratio
where I can choose between 66/66 and 100/66, I did
set 100/66 but i think it is not working, How can i
know for sure?? Also there is the choice to set the
cas latency and although my mem is cas3 it allowed
to me to set cas2. Is there any way to know if the
setup options are doing something ??
Sandra benchmarks give a ver low performance to my
memory (around 67/70 as i remember now).
Many thanks for whatever you could say about this.

Well, what you want is to be able to increase the memory bus above the CPU bus, so it would be CPU66/Memory100. This is what my Soyo board allows. Most RAM today is good at CAS 2 when only running at 66MHz so it won't hurt to run it at that if only at 66.

Like everyone else has stated and I did initially, the only other way to gain some performance is try and overclock the board.
