I saw on TV tonight a Game at a Womens health expo

it was interactive, you put your fingures in these little pulse things, and probably a few other things were attached to you I didn't see

but anyway

for the Character to shoot an arrow, the player had to slow her breathing down

I think an FPS like that would be so cool,

figting being conrolled by your mood and state of calm.

i think a game based on motion capture would be cool and definatly promote health like all the running in Morrowind, you sure would take longer, and it'd be sweet to do a mock lightsaber fight and have it appear on the screen.

I think I saw something like that, but it wasn't sensing your actions and putting them into a game, but was sensing things like your heartbeat and breathing rate to control what was going on. To me, that sounded kind of boring, because you don't play games to calm yourself down (at least I don't normally).

It seems like it could be very cool for parts of adventure games though, but not FPS and things like that (would probably need other controls too besides the pulse sensor things)

it would defiantly need the current mouse controls,

say having a mouse that reads the pulse

so you still have the basic excitement of the game, but you want to so a sniper shot, you need to calm your pulse down to get the person in your sites,

you want to camp and be quite, your pulse has to be low or someone will hear you, you want to Run FAST you have to have a higher pulse rate, normal Jogging would just be controlled by key controls like you normally have.

would add an entirely new realism to the games, how many runners have a low pulse while running?

I saw something on the discovery channel about people moving mouse cursors with their mind (it obviously had a long while to go, but this was like 4 or 5 years ago).
