Can my mobo handle 2700 DDR @333 if my mobo only says it will do 200/266?????

Need immediately!!! wanna oc my system

yes it can handle it. Your mobo will just downclock the ram to pc 2100 because thats the fastest it can handle.

I'm wise-skiier's friend and am going to help him OC. Anyways, I wanna bring the FSB up to 166mhz which is DDR333 or PC2700. I just don't feel like overvolting PC2100 and relaxing the timings.

keep in mind, if his mobo doesnt support pc2700, there is a good chance it has no 1/5th pci divider, and if it doesnt, 166 is bad for the hdd and alot of pci cards wont boot

When I hit 166, it hit the 1/6th divider. He actually has my old mobo :D I actually killed an old vid card at 158mhz because it was still running the 1/5th divider :(
