Hi ya. My sig is listed below..
I'm now ready to buy another RAM stick simply because I don't have enough RAM.
I'd like to have the best RAM performance when Two RAM sticks work together.

So, what do you guys think?.. Should I mix it with a new Mushkin PC133 Rev.3 128mb OR don't mix it and just buy another Mushkin PC150 HSDRAM 128mb? I dont want to lose performance if there's little mis-match between two different type of Mushkin RAM (I dont know if there will be mismatch or not..)

Note: If I buy the Rev3 one, I will set the CAS to 322 .. Will I still get the full potential performance at that CAS setting??..because my current PC150 HSDRAM is faster in clock access times(Not CAS timing) than the Rev.3

Please give me yur input.

well, if you read some of my posts, I have bx6.2 and
am having trouble getting to 933 with more than 1 stick. I have a stick of rev 1.5 and some samsung ga?
from muskin and I can't run them together at 933. It may be the mb or it could be the memory.
That's the only insight I can give you.

With the rev3 guaranteed to run 222 at 150, I don't see why you'd suffer a performance degradation if you're going to run them at less than that. The PC150 is supposed to be rated 2,3,2.

Mr. Potatoehead,

Thanks for your input.

Tachyon,

Thanks for yur input but isn't the CAS 322 what I stated in my sig??.. I know it is 322(same thing as 232, that's how it's arranged in my mobo to get it to work). But I don't think I will be able to run my PC150 mushkin at 222 if I add the Rev3 at 222. You see what I mean?.. Let me be clear... I am not planning to just use the Rev3 alone if I buy the Rev3. I have to use my PC150 muskin also.

What I was also trying to compare is .. Rev.3 @ 222 with little slower clock& cycle access time VS. PC150 HSDRAM @ 322(232) with little faster clock & cycle access time. I know I know... CAS222 is still faster in memory bandwidth performance. I cannot buy Two sticks of Rev3. I can only buy one. The price difference between Rev3 and PC150 is about the same. I just can't make up my mind which one would be better to have two sticks of RAM to work best.

Tim,

Can you tell me what you think about this? Please? Any suggestions?

I guess I should go with Rev3 like what Tachyon said?.. I guess it'd be better in the future use too.. right?

Anybody else know if there may be incompatibility issue between Mushkin PC150 and Mushkin Rev3 to work together well in overclocking?

I would email Muskin and ask!!!!!!
