Has anyone tried to unlock the AMD 64 3000+, 3200+, or the 3400+... has anyone found a guide with pics etc... Want to unlock a 3200+ but i have seen no guides or experiences with it... Wondering if it has even been tried... maybe this is just a lost cause considering you would have to remove the heatspreader and stuff (I know i wouldn't be the first to try this on my $400 processor)...

64s have default + all lower multipliers unlocked.

Multipliers higher than default are locked, supposedly in a way that can't be unlocked.

thanx so much for the reply... If the lower multipliers are unlocked then where can i find them in the k8v deluxe bios 1005 beta? How can I change them... Thanx again so much for your input but for the life of me i can't find the multiplier... Is there a hacked bios or something... Would be great to change....

Fist they talk about all multis being locked, then they say only default + lower is unlocked, then there was mention of some mobos having this, some not.

Please PM me when you find what the real deal is, I'm interested to find out too. Meanwhile here's bump for your thread.
