Aright, heres the deal.
I have an Athlon XP 1900+ T-Bred. Spec sheets say 266 FSB right? Ok.
My mobo, a Soyo K7Y Dragon Plus!, supposively supports 200/266 FSB, all is well and good.
Here is the problem. I run this 1900+ great, but when i buy another 2400+ (tbred) and install it, it goes kaput and doesnt run. I have yet to find a reason it shouldnt. The 2400+ is still a 266 fsb, and all my voltages are correct or whatever....
I start up my box, the fans go and i can hear CD roms spinning up and HDD's kickin around, but then thats it. Nothing on the video. So, i think it is a vid problem, jam the 1900+ back in and no problem. Everything works fine.
Help!! I dont know what to do...or am i just a ****** and am doing somthing wrong? Thanks...
