right now i have the soundstorm on the nf7-s...

basically ive gotten into DJing/Mixing
i have TT200s, and a Rane TTm54i mixer
im looking to get a keyboard sometime soon and doing my own recording... aka make beats songs/ record mixes etc.
i know i will need MIDI in... but besides that i have no clue please help me find a card thats economical for this

maybe game theater xp??? I have one and i used it for vocal recordings.... Its ok... the audigy's are better I believe, but the game theater xp has the external box with MIDI In/Out, Optical In/Out, Digital Coaxial In/Out, Mic in, line in, aux in, 6 channel output all in one. The main reason why i got this card over an audigy was because of all the connections and the external box.

The Audigy 2 ZS Platinum is an awesome card to use for recording. I used to use my older Live! 5.1 Platinum to record mine

Agreed, if your budget will stretch. You can pick them up on eBay new for $190-$240.
