Im wonder how 5.1 outputs the sound to each channel.
I not certain that mine is working correctly.
Im sure that the the front, center, and rears are working correctly. The sub woofer channel seem to work when the center channel is working, like when the voices are talking in a movie I can hear their deep tone.
Not sure about it all, cause my audigy 2 sound card in the speaker selection menu I set it to 5.1, and when I do a speaker test option there is a picture of all the speakers, it never tests the sub channel even though it is there in the picture. Damm thing.

There is calibrator on the audigy control panel. It says all my speakers are hooked up wrong. When I use the test speaker program it all sounds ok and the sound is coming from the correct speakers. Each speaker sounds ok in games too. Strange I tryed to use the calibrator before but it just ends up with the sounds coming out of the wrong speakers.
Maybe it got something to do with my triple amp setup that it cant get it right. I recheck the wiring numberous times now.

2xFront channels - amp number 1
2xRear channels - amp number 2
Center and Sub woofer - amp number 3

Center runs off right channel and the sub woofer runs off the left channel, the sub is non powered and has its own built in crossover therefore I can connect it directly to the amp.

if you want to check the sub play some music and turn it on and off. if its working, you'll hear the difference.

Yeah, like James said. Is there a picture of the subwoofer in the Audigy 2 speaker test? The Creative sound test with the Audigy 1 doesn't test the subwoofer. It only tests the 5 other channels.
