Someone recommend me a GOOD DSL router for gaming

Right now i have this crappy USB modem, it's kinda slow, I fixed a friends ethernet router to my pc, was much better and faster.

Id like to know which one to buy, it has to have an integrated dsl modem...

Any name-brand external DSL router/modem would do fine. I have an old Cisco 675 that although not perfect, does admirably well.

I haven't seen any comparative performance figures for DSL performance between various brands and models, but am sure that it's hard to go wrong by staying with a name brand.

Your ISP may also have suggestions in this regard. ISPs often like to work with a particular brand of modem which allows them to become more expert with it = better support for your location.

I'm using a 2wire HomePortal 1100. It's great, and already has a built in router. PLUS, it's a HPNA so you can hook up to any phonejack in your house and surf the net with it. All you will need is a hub or switch if you want to network your other computers on ethernet. Oh yeah, it also has a USB connection although you don't want to use it.
