I tried 2 different cpus and still i can only use my pci video card! what is up?

I tried :
1)P3 450 (any fsb/voltage)
2)Celeron II 700 (any fsb/voltage)

No post, i can't even do anything with any of my 3 agp cards (voodoo3 3k/radeon 32mb ddr/ati rage 128 8mb). The board isn't dead because i am using my pci video card right now running seti@ home p3 450 @ 500 1.65v (2.0v default). Runs fine.

What is wrong. I can get it to post sometimes with agp, but when i put my pci 56k modem back it no post, and nothing. I have to start all over with pci.

When i first got the board i got it for free. The kid who i got it from said it had problems, but not like this. He said it won't restart from windows, and no temp sensors. So far i haven't had any of these problems!

Anything i can do?

sounds like you have a conflict between your vid and your modem. might want to try putting your modem in a different pci slot.

PCI slot 1 shares an IRQ with AGP.
slot 2 with slot 5
slot 3 with slot 6
slot 4 with the USB controller
Slot 6 is a slave only and doesn't support devices that require bus mastering.

Hope this helps.
