can somebody explain what this term L33T means? i believe it is game-related but i am not sure, i've seen it on avatars and heard people use it but not sure what it is.

l33t, which is so-called "hacker" spelling of leet (nobody get into a debate about this again, heh), which is short for elite.....there are many variations of it....133t, 1337, 31337, 3l33t, etc....they all mean the same thing.

Basically a sort of joke-talk between most people now, nobody really talks like that, it's fun for about 10 minutes and then it's just stupid.

It took me probably about 5-10 minutes, but I was also thinking of definitions. I'm quite fast at typing 1337, I just have to remember to remap certian keys in my head before I type anything :D
