I would like to know how to Overclock Intel P3 550 mhz on a Asus Cuv4x mobo and 256mb ?
I'm a newbie to overclock and bios. Do i need to buy hardware to do it?

Thanks!

There should be settings in the BIOS for raising the FSB, and voltage to the cpu.

The way intel chips are overclocked, is to raise both a bit at a time, until stability suffers. Then you back off until you become stable again. Trial and error kind of thing.

You might want to read up on the fine art of o/cing by spending some time on the "home" page here, in the FAQ's and the list of Tips on the left side of the home page. Lots of great info there, just about any topic, too. This will give you a better grasp of what is being discussed in the forum, and allow you to ask questions that are more detailed than vague.

Welcome to the forum! Happy overclocking!!
