first one is better, the second won't cover the whole radiator.
IMO, you won't need to turn'em up full blast btw. expectually with a caprice. but you'll notice that when you test it out

thanx , last night i put a 5/8 barb on my core by puttting a 3 inch segment of clearflex in boiling water and stretched over the 3/4 then put a 5/8 coupler in it so now i have 5/8 in , 5/8 out
