View Full Version : Does a uk memory card work in a usa ps2?
Figured I'd ask here, don't wanna have to sign up for a gaming forum

I am pretty sure the only difference between the 2 machines is the different video output standard. The storage would be exactly the same, so the memory card should work just fine.
i think your right Needitcooler, but i just knew that our games have a different format. Memory should be universal.

Right.
The cards work on both systems, but the game info MIGHT be too different for one version of the game to recognize the save data.
I know from experience with DBZ Budokai 2.

The only difference between UK units and USA units is the power and the video output......The games themselves should be identical...I can't see a company putting out a UK and a US version seperately, considering it's the same language....

Not quite the same language in the UK. :p They speak British. :D
lol @ Needitcooler,
the game in question is madden 2004. For which I have my own profile, playbooks ect. if that helps at all!
