View Full Version : p3 667 on dfi p2xbl Rev. DA+
I run my p3 667 on mobo dfi p2xbl Rev. DA+ (440BX chipset). I am using 128 M apcer PC 133 memory and Rive TNT 32 M. the maximum overclok is 750 (150x5). I Have heard that some people are able to overclok to 950 MHz. How to do it? please somebody help me.
Is p3 667 multiplier locked?

Forget about OCing that 667 any farther. Sell it on Ebay ASAP and get a P3 700E. Anyone who is OCing a 667 over 830MHz is using a MoBo with a special clock generator (either the board came with it, or they soldered a TurboPLL on).
I've got my 700E humming along at 980 at only 1.75V. It'll do 1050 @ 1.8V, but my memory doesn't run at 150, so I settle for a lower overclock and more memory bandwidth.
Most 700Es will do 933, no problem, with good cooling.
